UpTown Waterloo Kicking Off Summer Solstice in Style

The sixth annual Solstice Sampling event will be held from 5-9 p.m. in UpTown Waterloo on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Hosted by the UpTown Waterloo Business Improvement Area (BIA) and the City of Waterloo, the popular evening has a new format for 2018. Included will be a restaurant crawl to a variety of UpTown Waterloo restaurants (listed below) where attendees can enjoy samples of delicious culinary creations. Entertainment, including musicians Rufus, Quinton Barnes, Neruda Arts performers, magician Nicholas Wallace, a temporary art installation in Waterloo Public Square, ballroom dancing lessons and demonstrations from Arthur Murray Dance Studio and much more will be positioned throughout uptown to add to the overall experience.

Passports for the Solstice Sampling Summer Night Crawl can be purchased for $40.00 each ONLINE or in person on the evening of June 16 at Waterloo Public Square. Completed passports can be handed in at the end of the night at Waterloo Public Square for a chance to win $100 in UpTown dollars.
