Connecting and Celebrating in Neighbourhoods: Workshop and Tile Making Activity
November 6 from 1:00-3:30 PM (in-person at Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex) – Sign up on Eventbrite.
Join us for the in-person session to learn from fellow neighbours, network, craft, and have fun!
From 1:00-2:00PM participants are invited to listen and learn from fellow neighbours who have planned exciting community events and projects. Connect and network with fellow neighbours from 2:00-2:30PM and enjoy light refreshments and appetizers. Following this, the Clay and Glass Gallery is leading a tile painting workshop from 2:30-3:30PM. At this session, participants are invited to create a decorative tile that reflects their neighbourhood.
Child care is available on site for children over the age of 4. Refer to the readiness for camp questions on the City website to make sure your child is ready to attend. Vouchers are also available to cover costs of public transit.

Back for its 2nd year, this unique experience combine the greatest magicians from around the globe along with professional comedians, actors and improv specialists chosen as tour guides to help you navigate the streets of Uptown Waterloo.
A walking tour designed with indoor and outdoor surprises. Throughout the two hours your comedy guide will bring you to secret venues where magicians await to wow with incredible sleight of hand magic. If you handle a few flights of stairs, strolling 6 blocks, comedy and magic combined, then come prepared for the fun and craziness of this year’s Magic & Shenanigans Festival.
