Open Studio: Responding to Current Exhibitions (ages 14-18)

This workshop is open to everyone age 14-18

Create an original work of art in response to one of our current exhibitions using skills you’ve learned from previous workshops. Become a Youth Guild Member to submit your artwork to be judged by a panel at the opening reception of our Youth Guild Juried Show on July 29th, 2023.

After the workshop:

Animal bowls will be fired in a kiln at the gallery. Approximately 3 weeks after the workshop, you will receive an email when they are ready to be picked up.

About Youth Guild Workshops:

This series of workshops is offered with the support of the Youth in Recreation Fund – Ontario Endowment for Children and Youth in Recreation Fund held by the Waterloo Region Community Foundation.

Workshops are open to anyone aged 14-18. It is not required to be a member of the Youth Guild to come to a workshop.

Artwork made during workshops can be entered in the first ever Youth Guild Juried Show – to enter your artwork, become a member of the Youth Guild.
