In lieu of the Mayor’s Oktoberfest Luncheon and annual Barrel Races, the Uptown Waterloo BIA , City of Waterloo Council, Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest and Mayor Dave Jaworsky have collaborated to present the Mayor’s Oktoberfest Market – a one-day community market featuring a variety of local vendors and performers that can be discovered throughout the day.
This year’s market will feature over 50 vendors, AND is Dave’s last Mayor’s Oktoberfest Market- so come help send him off in style!
The market will take place in the Waterloo City Hall parking lot on October 1st from 10am to 4pm. Rain date: October 2nd.

The last Friday of every month in 2026 I will be presenting a concert of noise and experimental music at Emmanuel United Church in Waterloo, ON. All shows will be $15/PWYC.
Expect to hear: harsh noise, industrial percussion, free improvisation, free jazz, ecstatic joy, overwhelming dread, glitching laptops, chaos punk, buzzing motors, folksongs, pop songs, sustained drones, blissful ambience, large waves of feedback, immaculate beauty, harsh noise and more
