Swing Stew: The Whole Stew

Do you like Stew? Do you like Swing dancing? How about a Swing Stew?

No we aren’t going to be cooking our favourite spicy dancers, but we will be learning from them!!

We are having a one day workshop called Swing Stew and it’s going to be pretty delicious! Just like any stew, dancing also includes main ingredients. It doesn’t really matter how much salt you add to a stew if it doesn’t have those great ingredients to start with…it’ll just be salty water. The same thing happens in dancing, but our Swing Stew workshop will give you the ingredients you need to make your dancing flavourful.

Have you ever seen dancers throw in different kinds of dancing and wish you could do that too? Want to learn a little mix of everything to add flavour? Well this is the event for you! The team at Hepcats will be working together with a bunch of very experienced, capable and FUN teachers to teach you a variety of dances.

Never been to a workshop before? Well you are in for a treat. This event is for anyone who has at completed Hepcat’s Lindy Hop 1 or the equivalent (i.e., you can comfortably dance 8 count Swing Outs). We will be providing a FULL day of classes from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and a FULL night of dancing featuring live music at the Naval Club by the very talented big band, Parquet Players!!
