The Pinch Cabaret, KW’s monthly variety show, performance laboratory, and community arts party, joins forces with Femme Folks Fest for a SPECIAL EDITION. An unexpected mix of indie-folk, comedy, poetry, dance, performance art, and who knows what else!
VOTED KW’S FAVOURITE LOCAL EVENT BY THE READERS OF THE WATERLOO CHRONICLE!
Created and curated by local yokel Ben Gorodetsky, this special edition will be guest-hosted by stand up comedy superstar Renee Groux. Get ready for a diverse bill that will surprise and delight audiences while bringing together disparate artistic communities!

The last Friday of every month in 2026 I will be presenting a concert of noise and experimental music at Emmanuel United Church in Waterloo, ON. All shows will be $15/PWYC.
Expect to hear: harsh noise, industrial percussion, free improvisation, free jazz, ecstatic joy, overwhelming dread, glitching laptops, chaos punk, buzzing motors, folksongs, pop songs, sustained drones, blissful ambience, large waves of feedback, immaculate beauty, harsh noise and more
