Get creative with clay! During this freestyle clay workshop you can make and paint a small project of your choice. Each ticket includes 1 clay item to go through the kiln.
The instructor will demonstrate basic handbuilding techniques and show you how to combine simple forms with sculptural elements to create fun and functional pieces for your home! Items are foodsafe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.
Popular project ideas include a plate, mug, plant pot, or ring holder – all with the option to add your own decorative touch. Make a mug with your morning mantra, a tealight that looks like a turtle, or a plate that’s designed to fit your favourite snack.
If you have special needs or medical requirements and would like to come to claytime with a personal care attendant, please book online and then email Camryn at camryn@theclayandglass.ca to add a +1 to your booking free of charge. Personal care attendants are welcome to make a clay project during the program.

The last Friday of every month in 2026 I will be presenting a concert of noise and experimental music at Emmanuel United Church in Waterloo, ON. All shows will be $15/PWYC.
Expect to hear: harsh noise, industrial percussion, free improvisation, free jazz, ecstatic joy, overwhelming dread, glitching laptops, chaos punk, buzzing motors, folksongs, pop songs, sustained drones, blissful ambience, large waves of feedback, immaculate beauty, harsh noise and more
