Sick of trying to work out what courses you’re taking this semester? Tired of people asking what you’re going to do with your life? We’ve got you covered with the Frosh Icebreaker!
Hosted in the first week of term, it’s never too early to make a bad first impression. The Icebreaker is the biggest Frosh party in Waterloo and we’ve exclusively hired a huge venue right nearby WLU and UWaterloo for the occasion? This event is iconic and a must for all new students.

This Spring, AOMS explores themes of gathering in difficult times in the name of hopeful change. Through gathering, our community can support each other and others, stand up for injustice and marginalized voices, and share a dream for a better world, and love for all. Through powerful lyrics and inviting melodies, we hope everyone at the concert finds a sense of support, comfort, and belonging in our music. Featuring songs by choral giants Morten Lauridsen and Eric Whitacre, songwriting poets like Bob Dylan (whose song “The Times, They Are A-Changin’ provides the inspiration for our concert title), and hit songs from the musicals “Wicked” and “Dear Evan Hansen”, our program explores the multitude of ways music speaks truth to power: through the lyrics and notes we sing, as a caring musical community.
There are TWO shows available, a 2pm matinee followed by a 7:30pm evening performance.
Cost: $20-25
