For the third installment we are headed back to Den1880!

Join us at Den 1880 for a day of fitness, fun, and self-care. Lace up your sneakers for a scenic run through the park, followed by a rejuvenating yoga session to stretch out those muscles. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to move their body and connect with like-minded individuals. So grab your friends, bring your yoga mat, and get ready to sweat, smile, and spread the love.

Event Highlights:
A fun social 5km run around Uptown Waterloo. Following the run, immerse yourself in a 30-minute yoga flow led by the inspiring instructor Bettina Boucher.

Every year we take the time to reflect on the data, numbers and subsequent actions of the prior year that make up the whole of our network – the seeds, roots, trees and leaves of our forest. This April, Sustainable Waterloo Region is inviting you to take a moment, sit in the shade with us, and take a look at the beautiful forest that we are planting and tending together at our Evening of Recognition.

The evening will be full of networking opportunities, live music, food, drink and more! Of course, we will also be presenting awards to sustainability leaders of the region, the individuals and organizations who have gone above and beyond to implement sustainability projects, strategies and movements.

Everyone is welcome to join, however space is limited so register soon!

Grand River Black Music Festival and Conference (GRBMF) founder, producer and curator, CarlosMorgan, hosts a soul songwriting fundraising concert featuring Quisha Wint and Chris Rouse, performing their original songs and the inspirations behind them.

These three artist come together to perform their songs in support of raising funds for the “Grand River Black Music Festival and Conference” (formerly known as the Mel Brown Music Festival and Symposium).
