Stand Up for PCL - Comedy Event

Join us for an evening of laughter and purpose! S?tand Up for PCL (Parents for Community Living) is a comedy event to help develop affordable housing for people with developmental disabilities. Proudly presented by Gowling WLG and Wawanesa Insurance.

In partnership with Rusty Nail Comedy, Waterloo Region’s premiere comedy producer, attendees will be treated to uproarious performances by top-notch comedians Chuck Byrn and Jean Paul. The evening will be a blend of entertainment and goodwill as the power of laughter brings people together for a positive impact. 7:00pm doors open and silent auction begins. 8?:00pm show starts (approx. 90 min show). Wrap up of silent auction after the show.

Parents for Community Living (PCL) is a not-for-profit charitable organization supporting children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities in the Waterloo Region. PCL provides respite, supported independent living, community participation supports & group living services at twelve locations throughout the Waterloo Region.

Comedian C?huck Byrn brings an entertaining look to most any topic! Chuck has been a national touring headliner since 1996, and knows how to keep his audience in stitches. Chuck has his own comedy specials on CTV and has also worked as a comedic writer for television.

Comedian J?ean Paul has been a major part of the comedy circuit for some time now. Currently a resident of Toronto, comedian Jean Paul has always had an innate sense of humour. Maybe it’s because of his curious nature; maybe it’s because of his light-hearted view on life. Whatever the reason, Jean knew at an early age that a career in comedy was right for him.
