This summer, we’re bringing back the movement, the community and mostly importantly the vibes.

Whether you’re looking for a new routine, needing to get some cardio in but miss doing it with a community, come out to enjoy the sun we’re finally getting!!

Salsa In The Square is back for the 4th year in a row! Join us for a FREE evening of dancing, music, and laughs in the Waterloo Public Square! Our studio is pleased to provide complimentary dance lessons every Thursday at 7:00pm for the Region of Waterloo, live performances, and music until 11pm!

Join the Underdog Dance Corp for a three-day celebration of music, movement, and community in the heart of Waterloo! Featuring both local and international artists, they’re kicking things off on Thursday, June 18th with a special edition of our free event, Salsa in the Square:

• 30-minute beginner lesson at 7:00 PM, followed by social dancing until 11:00 PM
• Food trucks
• Live music
• Special performances

Followed by two full days of:

• Salsa, Bachata, and Dancehall workshops*
• Performances by dancers from Ontario and across Canada
• Socials with amazing DJs

The Underdog Dance Corp is thrilled to welcome international artists Antoni & Belen from Spain, bringing their signature style, artistry, and expertise to our festival. They’ll be joined by acclaimed local artists from prestigious companies, sharing their talents both in the classroom and on stage.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer, just beginning your journey, or simply looking to connect with others in the community, this weekend is designed to immerse you in salsa and bachata at the highest level—while maintaining the warmth, inclusivity, and connection our community is known for.

Enjoy an intimate evening of live country music as rising artist Bradley Hale takes the stage at Room 47 on Thursday, June 18. Joined by special guest Janna Leduc, this one-night-only performance will feature heartfelt vocals, country favourites, and an unforgettable live music experience in one of Waterloo’s unique live entertainment venues. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with music beginning at 8:00 PM.
