This is a guided journaling workshop that offers a gentle, welcoming space to slow down, reflect inward, and reconnect with yourself through intentional writing. Designed for journalers with any level of experience, the session will include thoughtfully curated prompts, moments of quiet reflection, and time to explore your thoughts at your own pace.
Set at the Princess Cafe in Uptown, the workshop invites you to fully immerse yourself in the practice of journaling, without the pressure of perfection or any expectations. Beyond personal reflection, this gathering also creates an opportunity to connect with others, share space, and feel part of a supportive community centered on mindfulness and creativity.
All materials, including a complimentary journal and writing supplies, will be provided. Whether you’re looking for a moment of stillness, a creative reset, or a meaningful way to spend time with others, this workshop is an invitation to slow down and be present.

Improviser, director, and UWaterloo instructor Ben Gorodetsky is offering a 2 hour improv workshop & jam.
Improv builds confidence, teaches storytelling, improves listening and collaboration, and allows you to be present in the moment. Taking an improv class is like supercharging your creative brain!
The 90 minute workshop portion will be followed by a 30 minute improv jam facilitated by Ben, exploring short form and long form improv games for a fun and immersive approach to collaborative comedy.
All skill levels welcome!
