Two Asians One Mic | STAND UP COMEDY TOUR - 2026

Productivity, innovation adoption and standard of living are intrinsically linked. Due to lagging productivity for almost 50 years, Canada’s standard of living has dramatically declined — a trend felt by individuals, communities and businesses across the country.

The inaugural lecture of The Canadian Standard of Living, Productivity and Innovation series will be presented by renowned economist Ricardo Hausmann, founder and director of the Growth Lab at Harvard Kennedy School. He will examine how emerging forces including new technologies, alongside enduring factors such as natural resources, are reshaping productivity, prosperity and Canada’s economic trajectory.

Two Asians One Mic is a Super-Asian stand-up comedy tour featuring Bonggun Kim and Robert Peng. Bonggun Kim is a Korean-Canadian comedian from Toronto, and Robert is a Chinese-Canadian comedian from Vancouver. Together, they’re bringing you the funniest Asian New Year–energy stand-up comedy show of 2026 — tackling culture, stereotypes, and everyday life with unfiltered humour and playful banter.

Celebrate the return of Spring at the Annual Uptown Egg Hunt!

This year’s Egg Hunt is April 11 from 11AM-2PM, with over 40 businesses handing out treats and free activities happening at both the Heart of Uptown (Corner of King and William) and Waterloo Public Square.
