Max and Elliot are friends, best friends in fact, but certainly nothing more… After graduation she moves away for university leaving Elliot to pursue his schooling locally.
Keeping in touch through phone calls, voice notes, and visits home on holidays seems to be enough to maintain the friendship at first. Then Max meets Lee, and suddenly the voice notes and occasional visits home aren’t what they used to be.
Elliot is left with two choices, tell Max how he feels or slowly lose his best friend forever.
At times hilarious, others heart-wrenching, this coming-of-age dramedy explores friendships, first loves, and growing up.
Event Dates and Times: May 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and May 17 at 8pm. May 4, 11, and May 18 at 2pm
Please note, Saturday, May 10th’s show will be followed by a talkback session with the playwright and director, Faith Andrew, as well as the cast.

No Place To Grow Old is an intimate portrait of the rising crisis of senior homelessness in Portland, Oregon. The film explores the systemic challenges and deeply personal stories of a generation aging into homelessness.
The 44-minute documentary is directed by Davey Schaupp and produced by Humans for Housing. The rising crisis of adult senior homelessness is an important issue and we’re grateful for your support in centering the voices of those most impacted.
Following the screening, stay for networking and discussion about how we’re seeing similar issues in Waterloo Region.
