Flamenco World Jazz with Melón Jimenez, Lara Wong, & George Crotty

Award-winning flutist and bansuri player Lara Wong and flamenco guitarist Melón Jiménez make flamenco their universal musical language to traverse musical territories. Their music ebbs and flows with elegance and emotive power, as they fuse the soul of flamenco with the inventive spirit of jazz, and the rhythmic improvisations of Indian music.

In this special collaborative concert, they will be joined by New-York based jazz cellist, George Crotty. In a constant dialogue between cultures, these three extraordinary artists brings tradition and modernity together through dynamic compositions and vivid improvisation. Dazzling flamenco guitar passages, mystical bansuri melodies and exploratory cello improvisations, come together in this unforgettable performance.

This 5-week block of West Coast Swing classes will be on Wednesdays at 8-9pm followed by a 1-hour social dance. This class is suitable for beginners and brand new dancers! ALL ARE WELCOME!

If you’re single between 20-28 years old and looking to mingle in a relaxed and casual setting, this event is perfect for you!

What does the event include?

• Up to 15 dates
• Each ticket includes 1 complimentary drink

How it works?

You will meet upward of 15 individuals over a 60-90 minute period. You will have the opportunity to chat to each individual for 5 minutes. At the end of the night you will select those you would be interested in talking to again and if they felt the same its a match! You will receive your results within 24 hours.

Compatibility test
A week before the event you will be sent a compatibility test from info@dtaspeeddating.com. You will have up until 2 days before the event to fill it out. You will received your most compatible matches the day before the event. You do not have to share your results with anyone, it is just for your own interest.

Notes:

• Minimum attendance of 20 individuals is needed for this event to run. You will be refunded if the minimum is not met and the event needs to be canceled.
• Each ticket will include 1 complimentary drink
